Who We Are

Four Worlds Transformative Consulting, based in Corvallis Oregon, was founded in 2014 by a group of like-minded colleagues and friends. We had worked together on various projects and shared a philosophy of holistic conflict transformation. We were motivated by a desire to make a positive impact in the world through addressing conflicts related to water resources management. Each of us recognized that water conflicts are often complex and multi-faceted, and require a holistic approach that takes into account not only the physical and technical aspects, but also emotional, mental, and spiritual dimensions. Our philosophy is based on the belief that to transform disputes, each party’s physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual needs must be met. That’s why our organization is known as Four Worlds.

We have extensive experience and world-renowned expertise in areas such as facilitation, mediation, negotiation, water conflict management, water management, life coaching, spiritual transformation, and collaborative processes.

Vision Statement:

Our vision is a world where all people have access to safe, clean water and flourishing ecosystems, and who have constructive conversations around faith based disputes. We strive to create a future where water and faith-based conflicts are transformed into opportunities for collaboration, where stakeholders work together to manage and protect our precious water resources, and where communities and ecosystems thrive. We envision a world where our approach to conflict resolution is holistic, and where physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual needs are considered in all aspects of life. We aim to be leaders in water conflict management, offering innovative and effective solutions to the complex challenges facing our world.

What is holistic conflict transformation?

This approach to dispute resolution recognizes that conflicts are complex and interconnected, requiring a comprehensive and integrated response. It focuses not only on resolving immediate disputes but also on transforming the underlying structures, systems, and relationships that perpetuate conflict.
